Walk On Water - Kat Dahlia

You said ya lights, ya left me blind
But I could never turn away
Rather ya black, rather ya white
You always left me in the green
And my shadow's groom
But I never know
Now I'm chasing blue
Are you changing you
You bring the rain, you bring the night
I never get the time of day
I wanna cry, you wanna fight
All this loving goes in vain
Wish you wore my shoes
Cause I torn them through
But what would that prove
I'm so confused

I'm not feeling too well, cause I just can't tell
If I'm entering the gates of, heaven or hell
And I'm trust you, cause I just can't tell
I know you so well
Remember when we fell, remember when we fell

I'm attracted to the ocean, just because I feel it
Can I walk upon the water
If I'm attracted to the ocean, just because I feel it
Can I walk upon the water
And I'm drowning in emotion
You quickly suffocating, wished I was a little taller
If I'm attracted to the ocean, just because I feel it
Can I walk upon the water

You said ya lights, ya left me blind
But I could never turn away
Rather ya black, rather ya white
You always left me in the green
And ya shadow's groom
But I never know
Now I'm chasing blue
Are you changing you
You bring the rain, you bring the night
I never get the time of day
I wanna cry, you wanna fight
All this loving goes in vain
Wish you wore my shoes
Cause I've torn them through
Wish you wore my shoes
Cause I've torn them through

I'm not feeling too well, cause I just can't tell
If I'm entering the gates of heaven or hell
Can I trust you, cause I just can't tell
I know you so well
Remember when we fell, remember when we fell

I'm attracted to the ocean, just because I feel it
Can I walk upon the water
If I'm attracted to the ocean, just because I feel it
Can I walk upon the water
And now I'm drowning in emotion
You quickly suffocating, wished I was a little taller
If I'm attracted to the ocean, but just because I feel it
Can I walk upon the water

It's a storm a brewing, on my horizon
No matter what I'm choosing, baby I ain't deciding
So we shine, so we shine
A cat told me catch a knife. I'll trade ya promise for my life

I'm attracted to the ocean
But just because I feel it, I cant walk upon the water
If I'm attracted to the ocean
But just because I feel it, I can't upon the water
And now I'm drowning in emotion
You quickly suffocating, wish I was a little taller
If I'm attracted to the ocean
But just because I feel it, I cant walk upon the water

I can't walk upon the water, no
I'm attracted to the ocean
But I slipped right through, I slipped right through
I drown for you
Baby I slipped right through, I slipped right through
I drown for you

The Aleph

“A man sets out to draw the world. As the years go by, he peoples a space with images of provinces, kingdoms, mountains, bays, ships, islands, fishes, rooms, instruments, stars, horses, and individuals. A short time before he dies, he discovers that the patient labyrinth of lines traces the lineaments of his own face.”
― Jorge Luis Borges, The Aleph and Other Stories

Amused to Death - Roger Waters /Life for Sale

Doctor Doctor what is wrong with me
This supermarket life is getting long
What is the heart life of a colour TV
What is the shelf life of a teenage queen
Ooh western woman
Ooh western girl
News hound sniffs the air
When Jessica Hahn goes down
He latches on to that symbol
Of detachment
Attracted by the peeling away of feeling
The celebrity of the abused shell the belle
Ooh western woman
Ooh western girl
And the children of Melrose
Strut their stuff
Is absolute zero cold enough
And out in the valley warm and clean
The little ones sit by their TV screens
No thoughts to think
No tears to cry
All sucked dry
Down to the very last breath
Bartender what is wrong with me
Why am I so out of breath
The captain said excuse me ma'am
This species has amused itself to death
Amused itself to death
Amused itself to death
We watched the tragedy unfold
We did as we were told
We bought and sold
It was the greatest show on earth
But then it was over
We ohhed and aahed
We drove our racing cars
We ate our last few jars of caviar
And somewhere out there in the stars
A keen-eyed look-out
Spied a flickering light
Our last hurrah
And when they found our shadows
Grouped 'round the TV sets
They ran down every lead
They repeated every test
They checked out all the data on their lists
And then the alien anthropologists
Admitted they were still perplexed
But on eliminating every other reason
For our sad demise
They logged the only explanation left
This species has amused itself to death
No tears to cry
No feelings left
This species has
Amused itself to death

[Alf Razzell:] "Years later, I saw Bill Hubbard's name on the memorial to the missing at Aras.
And I...when I saw his name I was absolutely transfixed;
it was as though he was now a human being instead of some sort of nightmarish memory
of how I had to leave him, all those years ago.
And I felt relieved, and ever since then I've felt happier about it, because always before,
whenever I thought of him, I said to myself,
'Was there something else that I could have done?'
And that always sort of worried me.
And having seen him, and his name in the register -
as you know in the memorials there's a little safe, there's a register in there with every name -
and seeing his name and his name on the memorial; it sort of lightened my...heart, if you like."

(woman) "When was it that you saw his name on the memorial?"

"Ah, when I was eighty-seven, that would be a year, ninete...eighty-four, nineteen eighty-four."

Wearing The Inside Out / LIFE for SALE

From morning to night I stayed out of sight, didn't recognize I'd become,

No more than alive I'd barely survive, in a word...overrun

Won't hear a sound from my mouth , I've spent too long on the inside out

My skin is cold to the human touch , this bleeding heart's not beating much....

I murmured a vow of silence and now I don't even hear when I think aloud

Extinguished by light I turn on the night wear it's darkness with an empty smile

Look at him now he's paler somehow but he's coming round. He's starting to choke , it's been so long since he spoke , well he can have the words right from my mouth

And with these words I can see clear through the clouds that covered me

Just give it time then speak my name, now we can hear ourselves again

I'm holding out for the day when all the clouds have blown away

I'm with you now, can speak your name, Now we can hear ourselves again

He's curled into the corner but still the screen is flickering

He's curled into the corner
But still the screen is flickering
With an endless stream of garbage to
...curse the place
In a sea of random images
The self-destructing animal
Waiting for the waves to break

He's standing on the threshold
Caught in fiery anger
And hurled into the furnace hell
...curse the place
He's torn in all directions
And the screen is still flickering
Waiting for the flames to break

Age Of Loneliness - Life for Sale - Photo Experiment

Carly, don't be sad, life is crazy, life is mad ...the only chance: take it in your hands

Carly, don't be sad

Don't ignore hidden desires, read between the lines, no words, just vibrations....

It is time to break the chains of life

Silence must be heard, noise should be observed...

I need space for my desires, have to dive into my fantasies, everything is possible...

Cause no one has to hide beyond the invisible

If you follow you will see what's beyond reality

Close your eyes...Just feel and realize it is real and not a dream

Turn off the light, take a deep breath, and relax

There's no teacher who can teach anything new.

He can just help us to understand the things we always knew.... just relax....

Close your eyes...

The time has come to learn that silence...silence must be heard

Remember the Shaman when he used to say: "Man is the dream of the dolphin."

Things are changing
But nothing changes
And still, there are changes
Le roi est mort, vive le roi!

Don't be sad...
